Inman Aligners are fast gaining a fantastic reputation as a reliable method of straightening teeth in an incredibly short space of time. Most treatments take anywhere between six and 18 weeks.
What is it? A single appliance that is removable. It works using nickel titanium coil springs that gently oppose each other in order to help move the teeth into their correct position.
How does it work so quickly? The use of two ‘bows’ is the reason that the Inman Aligners can act so fast. Whilst one pushes forwards, the other pulls back, working over a much larger range of movement than many traditional straightening methods.
What does it involve? Impressions need to be taken of the teeth so that the aligner can be made and then a fitting session is required. After that it is worn for between 16 and 20 hours every day with regular check ups to monitor progress (usually every two weeks).
